So, I have up and moved south... to the southern part of the gulf coast of Florida...  I have been here 9 days, have seen no gators yet, but a few "new to me" birds here in my own yard... hope to be posting photos again with more frequency.  My computer crashed and so I am getting used to a new editing program as well as a new computer.  Hope ya'll are having a good summer so far!

I must say I was blown away, the amount of comments faves and collections amazed me. I wanted to say thank you to each person... but well... ok I haven't got that kind of time.   It is totally appreciated <3

So a year of playing with the camera, with and without auto focus.  I have added a new zoom and it feels a lot like my old film camera...which is a good thing!!  I have challenged myself to take and post (facebook not here) a picture a day for 100 days... I am on about day 18ish...  I have to say, rain makes it a drag...  I like to shoot during my lunch hour walks and rain cuts into that as well -   thank you to anyone who reads this and has been checking my photos, it is much appreciated!!

so finally, I have gotten my new camera, have been wanting a dslr for it seems like ever, and yet as excited as i am to get out and use it, i feel that my "old eyes" just don't cut it anymore, and I will be reliant a lot on auto focus...  Of course its been nasty and rainy and cold since it arrived friday -=/  Hopefully wednesday I'll get some on my way across state...  lol think there are some cows or something to photograph...we shall see...soon to posting again ....
